What functions does the passenger screen do

Useless, as you can’t for instance play with your favorite game without stopping the music: no sound at all, or the music of the game for all. Stupid German IT design.

    Timing for CarPlay Ultra Update?

Hopefully they won’t behave like that. If they don’t provide first customers with significant software updates, and in the meantime the updates are available on new cars, it would help me in the future to choose my new car...

Plug and Charge - “try again”

I had this exact issue for 2 months: after pushing Plug&Charge, random waiting, sometimes it seems to display the option button for installing certificate - see below- (but it disappears in less than 1/10e second, so no way to push it), and in the end, always the same notification « could not...

    Change the Sport Sound?

Indeed, it’s a specific electronic module in the Taycan: the old and new taycans are powered with hundreds of modules, and that is why it’s so hard to update and maintain. But in the ppe Macan, fortunately they changed everything: the E3 1.2 electronic platform is based on 5 computers, no more...

Easy way to toggle between normal regen(recuperation)/coasting without binding to steering wheel diamond button?

About this problem of no regen when braking in « coasting » mode. even if it’s a strong brake, regen should occur, and on top of that if it’s not enough, real brakes. the driver screen regen meter and the center screen regen meter (when displaying car options) are consistent when the bad...

    Parking Cameras Suck?

The real issue I experience is the inability to see the corners of the car: - the sensor animation is not precise, and it hides the picture, whatever The view mode. - without the animation, in the 360° view, the corners are not sharp enough to be sure that there is enough space between the...

Easy way to toggle between normal regen(recuperation)/coasting without binding to steering wheel diamond button?

@CandianPorsche83 the regen issue in coasting mode is a general one IMO. Drivers don’t pay attention…

    My supposed order

No. with standard sound system: maximum capacity with Bose or Burmester: minimum size no matter the trim

    My supposed order

As usual @W1NGE is adamant ? Green&truffle is a more standard combo @Porsche. range vs power is a decision to make, obviously. Depending on my usage, the Turbo has enough range even with 22’’, so with the standard 20’’, it will be better. The real differences with the Turbo are the power (will...

    My supposed order

Considering all the costly options you’ve added to the 4S (PTV+, PASM...), the Turbo seems to be the one that fits your needs… you will just lose some range. I didn’t take the Burmester, and so far, I’m happy with the Bose. RAS is a must have IMO, it does change the way the car behaves. You...

    New software update

Porsche is Porsche: dealership must solve all the issues, even though those issues are invisible for the customer. So, with or without updates, if there is only one software issue (like a bad system fault which has no visible impact on the car ), they keep the car... I think this policy is too...

Navigation screen question on long trip.

The bad news is that you can’t go through the sea, even @100% SoC ?

    Security Code

Is it related to your profile ? There is a way to disable this code. it’s in the car, but not sure where! Try touching your name on the top of the PCM, you will find somewhere a menu to disable the code. Not easy to find, as well as to remind, I’ve spent literally 1 hour to find the relevant menu!
