Does it shut down when your driving or is it when you start the car? You can seriously get hurt if it is like what happened in my car.
So far while stationary but thanks for the warning. Not driving it anymore.

If I recall correctly, it happened to you while driving and lucky you found a lay bay close by. Did Porsche confirm it's dangerous to drive?

Yes, precisely. Thankfully, It was while I was driving in low speeds (parking lot) and it shut down while I still was in drive-mode and tried parking safely.

No, this is what actually is getting my really annoyed.

Understood. In a nutshell, Porsche is claiming it's a false positive error message to be corrected by software update. Did you notice changes to the drive system while error message was on? Mine just doesn't start.

Hmm.. not sure what you mean. What I remember is that the warning was shown, and suddenly the whole system just shut off which was quite frightening.

Something pretty weird was that the red circle of death + high voltage system error showed in the PCM. BUT, apparently there were so many other issues that happened at the same time that wasn’t shown to me in the system but to the dealer in their “gadgets”.

I just remembered that my dealer said himself that he would never want to drive it after that happening, which is the reason they gave me loaner for 3000 months (give or take).

True positive = hardware malfunction with correct error message. False positive = no hardware malfunction but error message. The latter seems very difficult to correct as you don't know where to start.

After thousands of km without problems, I’ve had 3 types of red circles of death (plus several yellow ones - pcm, direction, awd system) each 500/1000 km.

The solution was to apply the WSD0 update in early September, and now, I experience each 50 km one red circle of death (and the ones that were red became yellow , and the previous other yellow circles have disappeared!).

question, is it better after than before ?
sub-question: the yellow color of the circles / lemon ; is it a coincidence 😉

it’s not a lemon, but it’s annoying because I need to stop the car, and restart it. No problem in town, I can do it seamless, but on the highway, another story.

Car is at dealer for diagnostics. Let's see what errors they retrieve. Car wouldn't charge as well today.
Wow.. What loaner did they give you? Pretty funny if they give you a Macan 4 as well but with no errors 😅

Indeed, 4 in same colour and good specs. The exclusive chrono looks amazing - never seen it before. White seats with little kids, what can go possibly wrong.

Brief update, no error found. They blame software, sound familiar? They call it symptomatic repair and seems common enough to get own Porsche code and procedure manual. Basically hardware and software reset. Even keys need reprogramming so more than disconnecting 12 volt battery.
