Looking back, my dad had pretty practical taste. Subaru and Toyota fan. However, he did own a Mercur Xr4ti which he handed down to me when I turned 16. I remember it being fun to drive and I felt very cool driving a turbo hatchback at the time. Alas, it had problems and only lasted me a few years.
