Upside down?

Came out to my Macan with the bonnet popped open tonight. I guess I may have accidentally pressed the button on the fob…or it could be the next fault manifesting? The reason I say that was because when I closed it the car kept beeping a red warning and telling me the bonnet was still open. Tried a few times and no luck. Normally I would have locked it, gone inside, had a cup of tea and tried again later, but today I had tickets for a preview of Stranger Things Season 5 episode 1. I wasn’t going to miss that so, as the panel said driving permitted, I set off down the road with it beeping at me. The tale ends well because it stopped after 1 mile…Stranger Things S5E1 was good too! Maybe the Mind Flayer was messing with my electrics; and that red theme set the scene for the evening.

Front or rear lid? I had the rear lid refuse to close, because a piece of trim was malformed and poorly mounted on the back hatch, which caused it to sometimes not close. They had to order a new piece and replace it, but it's been fine since then.

Front lid. Seemed to close but the switch obviously thought otherwise
