Thanks to the forum switched order from 4S to GTS

I was about to order the 4S (still amazing) but after advice from this forum I test drove the GTS and so pleased I did as now placing this order. https://porsche-code.com/PTRFNW84. I was worried it would be too harsh a ride but it's fine and plenty of feedback. Thanks for everyone's advice.

Indeed - seems like 3D surround + porsche entry/digital key is only now available with 'remote park assist' - before today there was the option of 'park assist' or 'remote park assist'.

I see the same message when loading my configuration (order placed 3 weeks ago). I hope the car will be equipped with this new feature.

Reminds me of my Taycan when they simply couldn't deliver the car with Bose system and there was nothing they could do about it (that was during COVID and electronic chips shortage).

This happened to me as well after my Turbo build was locked. I had ordered the optional PX7 3D Surround View with Digital Key (but not Remote Park Assist, which likely would never be used). The configurator has changed so that now there is a bundled option called Remote Park Assist including 3D Surround View and Digital Key. On my Porsche app, the options for my build are showing only Digital Key but under Standard Features it shows Park Assist including Surround View and, separately, Surround View including Active Parking Support (not sure if these are now Standard items for just Turbo or also applicable to other models too). From what I’ve gleaned from the sales associate at my dealership, I’ll be getting everything I’d originally ordered and am relieved because they just started building my car last week. The only difference between what is now called 3D Surround with Digital Key and what I ordered is that the Remote package just allows you to control parking while standing outside the car. Otherwise, all the 3D features are still there - transparent hood/bonnet, etc. For clarity, they should call it 3D Surround View instead of just Surround View in the build.

I opted for the Park Assist and got a free upgrade to Remote Park Assist as the option was pulled. Can’t see the app ever being used to exit and enter spaces etc but nether-less nice to have.
