Remote Services Stopped Working

Has anyone else had this issue in the last 24 hours? My Macan EV remote access stopped working yesterday (Saturday 21st) around 16:30 GMT. 4G is being displayed in the PCM so I have a signal. An additional anomaly is the PCM clock is 1 hour ahead of the speedo clock, and I’ve checked that its time is auto set via the internet.

Just hapens every now and then, best to forget about it, accept this as one of many PPE platform bugs and enjoy driving. Don’t expect a reliable moble app and you won’t be dissappointed

Yes mine wasn't working when I tried to check the car yesterday afternoon.

BTW there is a contact for Porsche Smart Mobility and it goes like [email protected] just replace CC with your country code. Report this and let them diagnose. There are some issues with PCM antenna connector and in some cases replacing the comm module is needed to fix this permanently.

Nov 2024 Macan Turbo - On 19th March I noticed the Porsche Connect app was not synchronised to the car. Range / charge not tracking car, nav destinations not being received by car and unable to perform any other remote functions.

Porsche Pro took me through a hard reset (factory default settings) which did not help but then was unable to log into the car with my userid. There is a software update campaign (3 hours at workshop apparently) which seems relevant to these issues but my OPC can’t fit me in for a month. Meantime I am forced to drive as Guest and restore basic features at each start up. Shockingly poor experience from a “premium” brand. Will be escalating in the hope to get a more timely solution.

I went out to the car this morning, set a manual departure time so the car was preheated for the school run, and 5 minutes later the app started sending me notifications and all remote access is working again. I doubt that fixed it.

Same thing has happened to me here in US. My data plan says it’s active, but I have no connectivity for my apps.
