I had an instance of Service being required because some of the sensors were not working. That temporarily went away after restarting the car.

Had a repeat of it two days ago but this time the PCM screen kept rebooting whilst driving. That also temporarily went away after restarting the car - but for how long?

I'm not with Porsche, so make sure your dealer vets this.

I got one of the first off the line units, the first in Fort Worth Texas for sure. There were a lot of bugs originally; I'm a software engineer so documented and reported them. Most bogus warnings had disappeared until an update a few weeks ago (I suspect that was an integration update with the new OS - bugs to be expected). I've had a few since then, too.

In my experience, if the warning does not survive a car restart, and there are no notifications in the PCM Notifications panel, you can assume it's a bug. Please confirm that with your dealer.

Document what you were doing, what it displayed, what cleared it, etc. and let your service pro know. They'll report those as needed.

Having said all that, yeah, sometimes an early release has issues. Almost all of those with the Macan 4 EV have been software.

I *LOVE* this car. I've loved others, and, this one is almost unnatural LOL.

Keep reporting the bugs. My service rep is still talking to me, so no worries :)
