My Porsche in Apple CarPlay

Strange because when I connect the Bluetooth and WiFi, Apple CarPlay always show up in my Macan4 EV 2024…. You should definitely have that option….

I think you’ve misunderstood. This thread is referring to the My Porsche app within Apple CarPlay which worked on Taycans and 911 (992) but not on the Macan EV, likely because the Macan EV is the first Porsche model where Apple CarPlay runs within a form of Android Automotive OS that is new to the Macan EV and Cayenne EV. The Taycan and 992 runs on PCM 6.0, and not the newer Android Automotive OS that Porsche has implemented on their latest EV models. But yes, Apple Carplay does of course still work on the Macn EV, but it’s just not able to run the My Porsche app within CarPlay due to technical reasons unknown to us. It’s confusing, I know

So does the my Porsche app work on the PCM for phones running android software?
