Issues Getting Parts for Bodywork Repairs

I’m also still in a rental car after getting hit on February 7th. Both driver side doors have been replaced but there are still two trim pieces missing, and the rear RS Spyder still needs to be replaced. The replacement sent from Germany arrived damaged — twice.

I had an opportunity to see my car this week and was pleased with how the car looked, but I noticed that the trunk wouldn’t open or close when using the key fob, comfort access or the button next to the reversing camera.

Once the body shop is done the car still needs to go to Porsche for mechanical work (the rear axle steering is messed up) and for camera and sensor calibration.

My best guess is that I will have my rental for another two weeks.

My guess would be another 6 weeks, but AI really hope you get it back quicker than that xx
