Is free Internet Included new Macan EVs in the USA?

I tried a custom build and it says : Porsche Connect (10 years included)

But also I found this on their site, is this accurate? Also is 5% off the MSRP for a custom build decent or should I try for more of a discount? One gave me 0% off and I tried another one and they were willing to do 5%.

hhm yeah, there' s two different services.
Porsche connect and the Data Pass.
Porsche connect is 10yrs
verizon Data Pass is only 4 yrs.

honestly, i'm not sure it outlines anywhere the details... but i think the data pass is obviously the data used for apps, like youtube, pandora etc.... When this is up, i assume using your phone's hotspot will work just fine.
and I think the Connect is for services like navigation, updates, and the ability of the myPorsche app to connect to the car....

i could be wrong though...

Porsche connect us the included, limited data plan. It’s something like 3 or 5 GB per month max.
The Verizon plan makes it unlimited.
If you only ever the internet connectivity for things like clinate co trol, sending destinations and the like. Then Porsche connect is fine.
if you expect to stream music and do other things directly from the porsche apps and not through your phone via carplay or android auto, then you’ll find the data cap to be a problem.

No is the answer.

Porsche Connect uses a separate data service which you get with the car (any Porsche) for up to 10 years.

The Internet option requires the separate (expensive and pointless) data pass to use the apps Internet access (videos etc) and to use the PCMs hotspot for data sharing. Use your phone as a hotspot instead. Same situation worldwide.
