I don’t think that’s the point at all. This is about the technology – how the car works – and the fact that independent garages are starting to repair these cars.


But to answer the question: no. Not because of the minor repair, though. It’s a 4S and not a turbo; as far as I can tell, the spec isn’t right for me (e.g. no HUD). I love customising my Porsche.

Wow. Good to know. Maybe one should insure these cars to cover all risks. A write off of an only 750 miles Macan which a Porsche dealer would demand a replacement of whole battery worth 50k. Lucky guy got to pay “only” 5k£.

Having already watched their complete "Macan EV repair" videos (all 3 of them) and many of their other repairs, I wonder if (and of course when) such independent repair shops specialized exclusively in EV's & PHEV's will finaly become a reality to other countries as well...if ever in the foreseeable future for the not so young of us...!!
