This seems to be an upgrade for both Google Maps and Waze apps adding this CarPlay integration.

Previously, I think only Apple Maps provided this data

Our has done it since we got it in June.

What's frustrating is that they're still behind on upgrades (or just chose not to implement it) when it comes to Android Auto having access to the car's SOC% and showing projected arrival SOC% in the AA nav. This came out a year and a half ago. Come on, Porsche! You're supposed to be premium!

I see it with Apple Maps and Waze (and ABRP), but not Google Maps. Weird

Maybe it's dependent on your Android OS version? Or whether you use USB or wireless?
(I'm using a Pixel with latest OS and wireless, and it's done this for the two months I've had the car ...)

I think Google Maps only works with Android Auto and Apple Maps with Carplay.

Got my car back from the stealership this week after some sort of control unit replacement which is meant to fix my connectivity issues. I'm now getting waze and apple maps on the main cluster, which wasn't the case before. It may be my imagination, but the 360 camera view seems better too. Might just be cleaner cameras though!

The service man mentioned that Porsche will be rolling out a major update at the end of Sept/Early Oct that affects "800 control units". Not sure what that entails or means.... Likely to be (another) dealer visit rather than OTA.
