I’m a new owner of a mecan 4, and i was trying for the first time to use my 220v socket in the trunk.
I just plugged in some usbc charger with 2pins, it seems to be fitting ok and all the way through but it didn’t work
I had it plugged there for 40-50 minutes trying to charge some external battery I have, and it didn’t charge it at all.
Is there anything manual I need to do in order to activate it? Some hidden menu feature I missed maybe?

There were some reports on the forum that the socket was disabled by Porsche Dealerships in US Australia - not sure of reason (safety issue perhaps).

My local dealer explicitly told me the socket is working, so its not that, I did assume that I might be missing some software setting.
Maybe its related to the fact Im not using that 3rd pin? there is no ground pin in the charger that I tried

The third pin shouldn't matter.
However, make sure the car is actually ON when you try this.
It shuts itself off a little bit after you turn off the car.
Just opening the rear hatch is not enough to turn the car on.
If it's still busted, try checking the fuse in the fuse box inside the rear-left soft panel. (You can pull on it and it comes right out)

The supported wattage is quite low. I could not power a small shop vac from the outlet.

I’m totally fine with that limitation, I want to use it to charge my laptop between meetings etc.
but the small light in the charge port isn’t turned on, car is on as I just stopped a drive and I expected it to be available (as said here) for an additional 30 mins.
I tried an original Apple charger, two ports, and it doesn’t work.
Any guidance on how to check if its fuse is ok?
I doubt it’s an issue as the car is few days old.

Check the US manual but for UK - https://manual.porsche.com/#/wpi/XA..._GB/topic/id/07b4553499216ec48d24c0b355cf58d1

And I think these are the fuse assignments. Search forum for Dashcam installation for more guidance on fuses and don't rely on this image in case it is incorrect.

Pull on the top of the left-rear wall insert, it will come out. (First arrow) (It may come out easier if you first open the floor lid) Don't pull TOO far because the cigarette outlet has a wire attached to it.
The fuse box that contains the 120V/240V outlet is in the lower-left. (Second arrow)
