Do the OE michelin's or Pirelli's have the foam inside them?
Just bought a set of 21" Hankook ION I*cept SUV EV wintertyres with sound absorber (foam inside) and removed the OEM Pirelli's and can confirm there's NO foam inside the Pirelli's.

They are good for that purpose. But there is one problem with that too. If there is a puncture, it cannot be repaired with a patch inside. The whole tyre would need replacing.

In the UK, if the puncture is in the middle in a non-foam inside tyres, it can be repaired (and legal) with a plug where a nail has gone in and then a patch inside to doubly secure the puncture.
If the nail is on the side wall, it cannot be repaired.
I had both instances with my Macan EV. First time, the nail was on the side wall. So, had to get a new tyre. The second time the nail was in the middle, so it was repaired as described.

No problem in The Netherlands to get that fixed with a plug. They remove the foam a little bit and put the plug in. Only when it's too much to the side of the tyre, it can't be fixed.

I had Hankook tires, with foam inside, on my 2022 Audi Etron SUV. I had a non-repairable puncture at about 14,000 miles and switched to Michelins. The Hankook foam was great, making the tires quieter than the Michelins (no foam). I really liked quieter tires in an EV. I thought, however, that the Hankook wear was excessive. Based on my visual inspection of remaining Hankook tread at time of puncture, I think I might have had perhaps 2,000 miles remaining, if the puncture had not happened. After mounting Michelins, it seemed like the rate of wear was less. This is a subjective, possibly biased assessment as I did not measure tread depths. I just recall thinking, “Wow, these Hankook seem to be wearing quickly,” but then it was my first EV.

I now have one Macan 4 with Pirelli, at 13,700 miles, and one Macan 4 with Continental, with 5,200 miles. Neither set of these two brands looks to be near replacement yet. I probably will move to Michelins when replacing them as I’ve had good experiences with Michelin on many prior vehicles. Your mileage may vary. 😂

As people begin to replace tires, it would be good to get a thread going on their mileage at replacement. It will vary based on driving styles and other factors, but might give us some general insight on tire wear.

Yes, I withdraw that idea. 😄
