And by the way - the alignment problems that return after 2-3k kms and cause the car to drive unlike any Porsche should... TWO SEPARATE DEALERS after the alignment was not successful told me "yeah, these cars drive like that, you have to get used to it".

I've also reported this to Porsche because 1) this is a crazy message for a Porsche dealer and 2) suggests they know it's an issue with more clients and are clueless as to how to fix it.

Overall this is the most disappointing aspect of this purchase and had I known it could be an issue I would not buy this car. This is the reason I plan on going back to Taycan as several (but not all) loaners I've had also had this problem. Also from what I hear this problem does not affect the Turbo model, only base, 4 and 4s.
Apparently solved for MY26. Would test drive once available. I have taken the gamble for first production batch of Cayenne EV. What can possibly go wrong :CWL:

Exactly. It’s not just a sound — it feels as if the car is losing traction. Sometimes it’s a bang, like someone hitting the underside of the car with a hammer.

My questions are:
  1. If this is not a defect, then why don’t newer Macans have this issue?
  2. Why wasn’t I informed about this when buying the car?
So far, I haven’t had any problems with the wheel alignment.

Of course, I also have other issues — like noisy pillars, or the key fobs’ batteries draining every three weeks for the last half-year. And I’ve had to prove in all sorts of strange ways that the batteries really are draining.

And which service centers did you go to?

Brave ;) I would not take this gamble after what I experienced with an early Macan ;)

Good luck. My idea is to switch for a Taycan, it's a much more matured platform. I drove the first gen and after this Macan was next level in terms of PCM, efficiency etc but the newest gen of Taycan is on pair at the moment if not better.

Agree, really liked the Taycan 4s with push to pass. Was driving it for almost 3 month. No problems at all. Just too small for me.
