I wanted to share this “free” app that is useful for really any EV owner because it helps track down the newer and hopefully more reliable stations. Generally, the 400 kW stations even have a graph on the display that will show the charging curve which I am excited to try very soon as my car is delivered tomorrow.

The App (web site) is dcfctracker.com
It was developed by Alejandro (@AlejandroEV66 on X & YouTube)

FYI: A fun search is to specify 400+ kilowatts and search only Tesla chargers. It identifies the true V4 chargers. I will be visiting one of these in Nashville Tennessee in early May. The big advantage of these chargers is that they are 1000 V capable and therefore should charge both the Macan and the Taycan at full speed.

The About Snippet:

About DCFC Tracker
DCFC Tracker is focused on one thing: making it easier to track newly added DC fast charging sites across US charging networks using AFDC data.
What the site does
DCFC Tracker highlights newly added charging sites, provides filters by network, connector, power, stalls, and state, and offers station-level pages designed for sharing and search discovery.
The site is intended for people following charging infrastructure growth, including drivers, analysts, network watchers, and media.
