Nice review
I agree for the 60 000 buck quality interior materials .
I was a little disappointed by it compared to my current V90 T8 hybrid (with extended leather pack)

I was surprised by his critiques of the interior. Other reviews I've seen, as well as my own personal experience, have been highly positive regarding the interior. He didn't take much time to discuss what interior options his model had/lacked.

His mention of how the Macan 4 doesn't snap your head back when you accelerate was interesting. He suggested that you would need the Turbo for that. In my testing, the 4S is plenty capable of head-snapping acceleration.

I'm getting pretty bored with every single Porsche review spending large amounts of time and outrage on the "outrageous" cost of the various options.

I'm also a little disappointed in so many reviewers who don't do the research on why the rear wiper is optional. It creates significant wind noise and lowers the vehicle's efficiency.

those critics are used to Chinese cars. they are loaded with options for cheap money. how they drive, how long they last they do not care. i would even prefer a porsche without any “luxury „. over any other car.

Couldn’t agree w you more!! They have an obsession w the price differential between the Macan ev and 4 cylinder base Macan without mentioning the Macan ev comes w about 10k of options standard vs the ICE macan. And I think the interior is fantastic, particularly w the addition of partial or full leather interior. Putting some money towards that goes a long way, I optioned leather for the center console surround w deviated stitching on top of a full leather interior which was 100% worth the money!

This reviewer couldn’t be more pleased with himself. Despite the fact that he couldn’t find anything significantly negative about the car he chose to dis the interior which (in my turbo and full leather) I think is a quality product and he doesn’t comment on the superb drive characteristics of every model which is why we bought the car in the first place. If you want specific features then you spec your car with them and you will not be unhappy. Everyone has different preferences which is why Porsche make each car almost a bespoke item.

Agree the price uplift from comparable Macan gasser is ridiculously overstated. Our Macan ELectric 4 costs exactly $2,990 more than comparably equipped gasser Macan. And sooo much nicer!!

Good albeit generic review overall. I also disagree about the interior. I have the Premium package, Sport chrono, 18-way seat, GT sports steering etc. and I love it. It is easy on the eyes without being spartan, incredibly comfortable and just looks great overall. The stitching is perfect everywhere, the seats look amazing and I love the fact that the PCM is integrated into the dash, instead of slapped on top of it like a cheap tablet in most cars. From a quick walk around the dealership while waiting for my car, it looks like Porsche is sharing a lot of the interior components between models anyway.

Regarding the neck-snapping comment, I find my Macan 4 is incredibly powerful and torquey up to ~110 km/h. It will still pull above 100km/h but I agree that it's not going to smash you in to the seat. Any speed below 100km/h is honestly neck-snapping for me. I would love to experience a 4S or Turbo, there's not denying that those are faster, but I am beyond happy and satisfied with the Macan 4 power in everyday/legal driving.
