Buying my first Porsche Macan

I am new to the forum and looking at buying my first Macan. There are 2 vehicles I am considering and I would like your advice as to what I should ask the dealer when I visit.

1. 2018 Macan with 50,000 kms on - dark blue and beige interior. Asking CAN$33,000 + tax (13%) Auto Trader: Advert

2. 2018 Macan Sport (not S) with 130,000 kms on - red with grey interior. Asking CAN$30,000 + tax (13%) Auto trader: Advert

Images for this vehicle are not really representative as it has been detailed and also had new Pirelli tires (on 21" rims) and new brakes all round. The higher mileage one is also virtually all highway mileage and has been maintained by local garage, who are selling it for owner. The low mileage one has what looks like good service records in the carfax report accessible online. I am attracted by low kms, colours and what looks like great condition.

I have driven the red Macan sport and planning to drive the blue one tomorrow.

Any suggestions or help in what questions to ask and in guiding my choice would be really appreciated.

FYI, this is an electric Macan focused forum. There many here that may have advice on the ICE models, however.

in general we recommend against buying any ICE vehicle since this is the Macan EV forum…

ICE vehicle's are naughty naughty with the earth's environment and make loud noises and scare the horses and pets…and sometime's the spouses

You'll enjoy a fresh and new Macan EV much more than any of those legacy Macan ICE vehicle's that do not even have the Augmented Reality HUD as an option or the nifty AC outlet in the cargo area.

I'll help you...

My strong recommendation is to only purchase from an official Porsche Centre and with a Porsche warranty if possible.

I had a Macan Turbo when they first launched and was flawless and currently have a Macan T (wife's car) which is now 3 years old and has been flawless also and never been to the garage once apart from routine servicing (once in 3 years).

The Macan EV on the other hand is not flawless but progressively getting more reliable.
