Black dashboard

Hello

this morning I went to the supermarket, I parked my car. Sun was shining but 27 degrees celcius, not a big deal.
After 20 mn I went back home. The car stay correctly, all ok.
after somme minutes the dashboard went totally black: no more information, nothing on it.
Apple CarPlay in the middle was ok, but not the main screen: no speed information no battery information…
Thanks to my Car head-up display, I had the speed information…
Do anyone got that trouble?

Report the problem to your dealer and get the car's software updated if any is available.

In the meantime, see if leaving the car off, walking away and keeping the key out of reach for twenty minutes restores the display. You can also try rebooting the PCM by holding down the volume knob until the infotainment display goes blank.

I had this issue about a year ago, before the software update. It corrected after turning off the vehicle and letting it sit. Happened only once. HUD helped, as it did for you.

Yup, me too. October 17, at the supermarket. I think we should avoid supermarkets, just to be safe

Happened to me a few days ago. Turning the power off and on worked.

I Forgot to say that after that event I Did switch off /on my car several Times: same issue.
This morning after one night in the garage the car starter correctly no more issue with the Dashboard. Today the outside température was same as yesterday.
Porsche gets bugs as everyone! …
