Just completed a 12-day road trip. At least 3-4 times/day, I got these alternating message on the 3rd quadrant of the driver display. I cleaned the windshield in case there were bugs over the camera, but nothing. Kept happening. It would usually go away within a minute or two, although it lasted over 10 minutes once.

I had this a few times as well and it lasted longer at times. Occasionally for a whole short drive. I had this on my other non Porsche cars as well. I think it’s kind of normal, maybe one sensor is dirty or fogged up. Wouldn’t worry to much and apparently software makes it more stable.

Check that your parking sensors are free from debris and clean all cameras..

This will rule out these items as possible causes.

Suspect it's software and false positives.

There is a major software upgrade which has just been released and addresses many software bugs. Contact your dealer to book your slot (free).

Also clean the radar at the bottom of the bumper. If it's dirty, you'll also get error messages.

Thanks. I did a quick wipe-down of that, the glass by the camera, and the front parking sensors during one charging stop, but now I can't remember if it did it anymore afterword. It wasn't a particular buggy drive this time (colder season) but there was some.

In my Mach-E the similar thing happens, but for a different reason. The wiring connector inside the camera housing on the windshield is known to have a weak connection that jars loose at times when you hit a hard bump on the highway. In most cases it comes right back too after a few minutes of road vibration. Also, freezing wet weather, then sensors can ice up.

But one big difference is that in the Mach-E I can switch it from adaptive cruise control to normal CC. In the Macan, I'm not finding that option. Appears to be ACC or nothing?

Is completely normal, the assistance doesn't work when the morning sun is shining strait in the cam. Also during fog there will be a temporary limited assistance.

I get this when I drive towards the sun in the morning, too. Seems the camera will be blinded at times.

Check also this topic! My Innodrive gave exactly the same errors. With the new 28.13-update I haven't experienced the issues yet (usually almost every day).

I can get these 10 times in a couple of minutes. Any time there is light rain, limited sight or snowy conditions. Kind of any condition where you would benefit most of assisted systems…….

On my BMW it only happens in severe snow.

I posted this in another thread a few months ago: the database contains gps roadway information. If that is missing or has changed, it seems you will get that message. The highway near me was permanently re-routed to add more lanes. Now when I drive the new section, I consistently get the warning. I assume if the mapping is incomplete or incorrect on an existing roadway, it also will occur. I have noticed that it doesn’t affect Innodrive functionality. Still works for me all along the changed section.
