Assistance Settings went missing

Hi

A few days ago I noticed my assistance settings disappeared. I used to disable speed assist as soon as I enter the car using the shortcut on the main screen. Well, it is no longer there.

Then my wife searched the infotainment for 5 minutes and couldn’t find any place to configure the assistance settings.

Also when using Innodrive I no longer receive the 3 settings panels on the main screen.

Funny enough, all systems still operate normally. I do receive lane assist messages and counter steer as well as the chimes when hitting the speed limit - I simply can no longer turn it off.

I attached a screen from the PCM simulator, the red circle is the screen I am missing.

Anyone had something similar? I tried already rebooting the PCM (30 sec volume nob) but don’t dare to reset the full car.

im just back today from service centre for the "module firmware update"

on my feb 25 delivery 4. that was only me asking btw as i was getting the audio "silence" bug. so far so good but its supposed to sort out some other glitches between all the control modules. my advice is contact porsche service see if yr vin number has a scheduled firmware upgrade. they will need car for a full day as its a computer flash update that takes longer than you might imagine even these days of ota iphone updates being a few mins. believe me this is more complex. good luck!

I just asked for a Software Update when fitting Winter Tires last Thursday. There are none available according to my Porsche dealer, otherwise I will be contacted timely.

For future readers: the setting just magically reappeared after ~3 days. Macan Software keeps surprising.

Hi, would send an image to Porsche dealer or better, log fault with Porsche DE directly. They usually reply after 2 days. Very strange. Did you leave car for a few days without driving? Low 12v battery seems causing lots of problems.

The exact same issue happened to me today. Assistance is just gone, and there is no possibility to turn off the acoustic warnings for speed through the shortcut button on the steering wheel. Super annoying!! And just came out of nowhere…anyone else?

Don’t worry, give it a few days and it will come back. Did you park your car in a garage without 4G/5G by any chance? That is when it started for me (was at a hotel).

Ditto, for me too. Happened yesterday and the soft reset didn't resolve the issue. The only thing that has changed are the tyres (To Pirelli EV All Season MS) a couple of weeks ago. And last Monday it went in for a service (20,000 miles) and they said there was no software/firmware update available. There is however, a recall on the parcel shelf bracket and you'll get a new parcel shelf and something to do with the seatbelts.

There have been no changes to my driving either, hopefully if your correct after a few days all functionality will return.

Well, I had to wait exactly 2 weeks for this error to clear, by itself. I even went into my Porsche dealership (Stockport) and they couldn't understand it and booked my car in to be diagnosed.
The only thing I didnt do, the day before it cleared, was drive anywhere, as the car normally gets driven everyday.

Now that you mentioned this I checked the usage stats in the App and was the same for me. I didn‘t drive the car for a day and the day after it worked again.

What a coincidence, or is this the fix that people need to do if they experience the same issue, if they can survive not driving for a day!
