While my Turbo was in the shop for updates my dealer gave me a 4S ev as a loaner, Last time they gave me a 4S ICE loaner. I had 5 days with the loaner and was impressed with the handling and performance. While it didn't have all the options on my Turbo, it still had the essence and is miles...
Thanks for the tip, this works consistently!
I’ve had the issue on several occasions and each time I used the rear door handle lock sensor to reset the door sensor.
With the cat unlocked I use my thumb on the handle to lock, then unlock, then try the charge port door. It usually opens the first...
If you're having issues, it's smart to come here first (I do) and that skews the topics to the negative.
So far I've been very happy with the fit and finish. The software/hardware issues have been very minor, similar to my experience with Tesla. Thanks for posting this poll.
This is what 22" wheels and Normal ride height looks like.
I wouldn't count on the height level always staying low but if you can verify that smaller wheels at normal height is less the 64", you'll be in good shape.
Although that first time is gonna be harry! :crying:
Called my local dealer (Rusnak Pasadena), put it on order about 4 weeks ago.
This morning i called, figuring 9/9 it might be in and it was. They just received an allotment of them yesterday.
Then, even though I had 70% SOC, I had to head over to my nearest Tesla super charger to verify it was...
Thanks ColdCase and Philip_1, distilled water is working!
I used a micro fiber cloth, dampened with distilled water, scrubbed the area, then wiped dry with another cloth. The gloss is nearly gone, I'm going at it slowly and it looks like a second treatment will have it back to 100% matte...
Washos has serviced (wash/wax/detail) all my cars for many years, they have always done a terrific job, regardless of which technician they sent but recently a new technician used conditioner on my leather dash (without asking).
As you can see from the photo, part of the dash has a shine...
Contacted my Porsche dealer, ordered Porsche's branded adapter $215.00 US.
Says it will be here 2 weeks or so, by end of September?
So it's the same price (with tax) as the unbranded Lectron.
Rethinking my sto n show bracket, getting tired of creeping over bumps and dips.. My old model 3 used double sided tape like 3M's VHB tape, has anyone else gone this route?
There are a couple of dips in and out of parking lots where it has scrapped, I've tried both lift and off road, while slowly inching through the transitions, still scrapes but not as loud as my first experience. :surprised:
The lowest part of the bumper the bracket is about 3/4" lower but...
I went with the Sto-n-Show. Calif. law requires a front license plate. It's easy to install, looks good but it does scrape the pavement from time to time. So far it hasn't been enough to bend the bracket or damage the lower splitter but it may just be a matter of time. ?
With my car’s 22” Macan sport wheels, I use the Normal setting around town.
Normal mode gives me a smooth ride over speed bumps, pot holes and dips.
When I’m on smooth-ish roads, like my favorite local mountain roads, I set it to sport or sport plus and absolutely love it.
I bought my car...
I've had the car about a week and just had the "Door Lock Defective" error today.
This happened while messing with my key fob, trying to do the all windows up/down function.
