Agree - with 18s you end up sitting on and/or scraping the bolster. Uncomfortable and leads to increased wear (on the seat, quite possibly your bum too!).
Holidaying in Dubai and wondering if anyone knows the colours they have to look at in the showroom.
I’d expect their stock models to be loaded to the gills so would be nice to see a variety of exterior and interior colours and trims etc.
Does anyone know?
Do people not schedule home-charging using their charger, rather than the car?
In my iX3, I have never used the car to schedule charging, it has always been done via the charger's app.
Looks like a toilet seat though!
Lots of choice depending on budget.
It may also be worth picking something that integrates with Octopus Intelligent Go, if that could useful in the future.
I think Zappi does?
Andersen A2 - it’s the neatest and tidiest solution.
At my parents, I fitted a HyperVolt which works great too - you also wrap the cable around the unit so you don’t need a coiled cable visible to all.
I found the Porsche leather wheels to be hard, especially when coming from a BMW which has cushioned steering wheels.
I’m probably going to get Beige leather and that will need some upkeep, so I’m happy (I think!) to do the same for the steering wheel.
In any case, I’ll keep the car for 3...
Does Porsche auto-parking work if there isn’t a vehicle either side of the space?
With BMW, the system looks for a gap between vehicles, so if there are lots of free spaces, it won’t don’t as it doesn’t just use the parking bay markings to look for a space.
That’s odd - I’ve not had the same experience at all with BMW - push the button and it does play/pause.
Weird how something as simple and useful as that is buried in the menu.
With my iX3 and 3 series beforehand, 2 zone meant it was on or off for the entire front and/or the entire back - you can however adjust temperature for passenger/driver.
I like the AC on for a breeze of cool air but my wife doesn’t want the AC on at all. Merely adjusting the temperature doesn’t...
If so, I’m amazed as every other two-zone AC car I’ve had is zone 1 front and zone 2 rear.
Seems strange than in this car, the rear passengers do NOT get AC with a 2-zone setup.
I’m getting 4-zone anyway.
It’s not so much 4 zone but two zone is just front and back, whereas 4 gives both driver and front passenger individual control of AC.
While I don’t give a hoot about people in the back, I very need separate controls for the front.
