Just got my freeze date - July 1st with a production start of Aug 17th (7 weeks from freeze to production start). Production time is 5 days to build the car. So Aug 23rd my car will be ready to ship. As I am in Canada add at least 1 month to float over to Halifax then truck to the dealer is...
Second that for four reasons
1. Easier parking in the shopping centres
2. More stable on highways
3. Better range with smaller tires
4. More comfortable ride with more air and rubber between you and the road
Sad...so I was not able to find a written spec but found this pic from another thread of the EU version. So if the North American version is similar then 150w.....so a camp light or likely most LED lights, laptop, medium fan, heating pad, low watt TV, shaver, electric tooth brush.....but...
One of the best value options. Peanuts to add and will be bringing my hot plate to the park picnic. Gone is the propane stove ?....wishful thinking on my part...but after digging found something closer to reality...lol
Anyone know if the Mud flaps for the ICE Macan will work on the Macan EV? May be too early to tell but so far no luck finding much info on accessories such as mud flaps for the EVs. Please post a link if you know. Thanks
Do you know if the turbo in the picture had the chalk-beige full leather pack or just the basic chalk-beige option? I like the chalk-beige but not sure about the quality difference between the two is big enough to justify 4K (cnd) extra for the leather.
Interesting. We have government issued plates (metal) so not sure if I can even use wrap alternative. But honestly never thought about that as an option until now.
Hi guys,
Anyone have a lead on options for no drill/ no glue license plates for the front of the Macan EV...magnetic or otherwise? I see one for the ICE Macan but guessing that will not work on the EV.
UPDATED: So STO N SHO got back to me with their new no drill license plate holder. Here...
For those who are trying to option an M4 you will notice that you cannot have both a rear wiper and the thermal insulated glass option. So what to choose?. My Model Y of course had no rear wiper and did not miss it yet the volvo XC40 recharge should really have it as it does....so....to pick...
Looks like they had a full run of coper ruby metallic - black combos for the turbo (25 of them). I like that they include the detail build sheet for each of them.
I’m pretty sure you can get in innodrive by subscription or full price after delivery because the Macan comes standard with ACC. I am counting on that because I am not optioning it in my build hoping to try it out via subscription instead
Hi I noticed that a new checkbox item was added to the M4 configurator today. It is for cruse control. Why would they add cruise control as an option when ACC is already standard? Is not selectable at the moment and has no $ figure so I suppose it is prep for something bigger...maybe a new...
You can do what I did. I went to the Porsche dealership and sat in the 14 way and 18 way front seats in the gas powered Macan. They are virtually the same at least for seat comfort.
Driving of course will be a different story, but if your main concern is seat comfort, that’s what I would recommend
You may want to look into innodrive before you pay up front. Youtube reviews of it are not impressive and you can pay a subscription to try it out for a few months instead and then consider paying full price if you accept its limitations. I took it off my list.
Not sure where the 380 miles range is coming from (I know WLTP is stated but is that official? Also no EPA rating out yet that I have seen). Anyway, Recent youtube range tests on the prototype put it at 298 - 320 miles (depending on which youtuber you watched). These are what I prefer to...
