How is it any different for Porsche when they still after countless of issues keep going back to Germany for solutions? I would say the contrary, since Porsche had the experience with the Taycan, the level of issues and how they handled it on the Macan is not only bad for a premium brand, but...
Nothing yet, my head of service contact took a vacation until Monday. I will update asap in the beginning of next week if I get any information. My car has been at the dealer for months, and if I were to get the update first it will probably be as a guinea pig.
If it is true, they should release the big software update next week. Whether they will push through or not is yet to see. This isn’t a hoax btw but directly from my dealer.
Update from my dealer (2025-10-27, Week 44)
Just got some new info today — the dealer was informed this past Friday (apparently from Germany) that the new software update is scheduled to be released to dealers next week.
The update itself takes at least 3 hours to install, and before applying...
Have you not visited the dealer regarding this matter? Obviously this isn’t something normal, so why don’t to address it as an issue? Disabling a safety issue isn’t the solution. You have warranty, take it to the dealer. It only takes once of forgetting to disable it and you’ll (god forbid) end...
I find it quite odd when people order a Porsche without Rear-Wheel Steering. For me, RWS is a must-have feature on any true sports car. The handling, especially at higher speeds, is just on another level compared to cars without it. There’s a reason why RWS has been used in performance cars for...
Including all the things that happened to my car, this ha as well happened. It was while my wife was driving to the store, started it up and went into Reverse, the whole car stop working with red chassi warning and about 10-15 other errors that happened at the same time. In our case, miste of...
So now they are saying 3-4 weeks.. I don’t know who to believe to be honest. It feels like they are throwing dates to be people just to get them off their back.
I haven't used my car for ages, sadly.. and the loaners I've driven doesn't have Innodrive. With that being said, I can't remember it giving away a sound when disengaging when the "steering wheel" turns gray from green, only when you leave off your hands for a while like @Petzi said and it...
I would like everyone to take this in consideration when addressing the issue:
Does the error stay on all the time (even when you leave the car and come back) or is it just turning on and off at times? My particular issue is that it never went away for weeks.
You have an actual issue if it...
So.. as mentioned before by many, the software update almost feel like a cover up for it. The issues will probably stay persistent after it, unless the change the hardware. Great..
