Reviving this old thread- but in addition to tariffs- if you were planning on a $7,500 tax credit in the US by leasing a new Macan- it looks like that will be gone by December, 2025 (if what passed the House becomes law)...
We only rarely used the compass display on a 2020 Macan- mainly for the altimeter when going to the mountains. If we used paper maps, a compass would be nice, but...
And it's TOTALLY not worth $980- but- sport chrono adds also sport plus mode and PMS sport - described here...
I had an e-tron with an electronic port door, and read several posts from people that had opening / closing issues. There was a long thread on audiworld on the various ways to open/close it using manual over-rides.
To me, the feature is a 3 out of 10 in terms of cool, but not being able to DC...
came on mine- and it is (sadly) a joke.
It has exactly 1 screen that cannot be displayed on the center screen, showing a compass and speedometer.
I'd much rather spend that on rear wheel steering, or torque vectoring, and get the passenger an ipad (-:
I can highly recommend Sean LaBonte at Porsche Fresno ([email protected]), who got us an S allocation when the model was just announced, was aggressive on price, and extremely responsive. He even stayed himself before Christmas Eve making sure plug and charge was working before we...
If I had time to order mine (was trying to beat new auto tariffs)- I would have added thermal and noise insulated glass- for *wind* noise mainly and heat.
At about 80 mph- I notice more wind noise than we had on an iX.
And for road trips in Summer (in Southern CA)- it would be nice to reduce...
Nice review and I agree with you, especially about the color (-:
My mother-in-law just got a Q6, and I was tempted before getting the Macan. That Audi has more features and technology for at LEAST $20k less imho. Same heads up display standard with the $5k premium plus package- that alone is...
Thanks @kaiju , we have 2 Macans and the other car has 14's. I do like them better. But as another member said either my 18's are getting a little softer or I'm getting a little more used to them.
I traded a 2022 BMW iX in on our Macan 4S, which had Apple Car Key.
It wasn't perfect.
It did work properly 95% of the time though. When it didn't- you had to open Apple Wallet and select the BMW key near the door handle to open. These were panic'ed "uh oh" moments.
So, we carried a BMW...
I have the exact same problem @ColdCase - back is great, seat bottom is hard and too narrow right where the bolsters begin with the 18 way sport seats (5'10", 170#). We have another Macan with comfort seats, and they are great. I'm going to give it 3 months to see if the seat or I adjust...
I think there is more to it than replacing a receptacle @PrudentOcean - on a NACS plug the same 2 wires carry level 2 AC charging, and high voltage DC fast charging. Electronics in the car diverts to the proper system by sensing what it is getting. In a CCS plug- DC is carried by the 2 large...
well, can we agree to just let this be?
I just found this forum today. I searched the thread for "CarWow" before posting, and that search did not turn up this particular review. It returns other reviews by CarWow but not this one. I see you did post this in April- but again- the search did...
I had a 2022 Ix xDrive 50 for 2 1/2 years and I loved it. But when husband got a Macan 4s- I liked it more. It was just exciting to drive. The iX was comfortable but not so exciting.
So I just got our 2nd 4s.
I didn't like getting stuck with iDrive 8.0 forever. Hardware limitations...
