On the NZ Macan configurator Innodrive is not available to select, all the other driver assistance is standard on the Turbo here in NZ, I'm fairly sure it should be supported here, maybe it will be a FoD later on?

Yeah we usually get new models before Aus - less compliance here (most of it legacy stuff in Australia attempting to protect local production).

What does everyone think of the interior trim and accents options? Do we expect the Extended Leather with Turbinate package to suit the interior of the car? I'm a bit torn and wondering weather "Interior trim: leather" and "interior accents: black" might be the way to go and a few less colours...

There might be a few different cars too, some at the press event, some in Singapore, and some photographed at different times. These ones look gloss black to me, but there is a chance the light is hiding the carbon detail and the carbon has a very glossy finish anyway.

Oh yep, that's carbon for sure. I've had a fair bit of carbon cars over the years and personally a bit over it, so will gloss black I think, hopefully good contrast with the Ice Grey.

Yeah I agree. Ice Grey Metallic is a pretty nice colour.

That's a good question, it's either White or Ice Grey Metallic I think.

I’m pretty sure the Cayenne is on the PPE platform too. Don’t expect any energy density improvements in the Cayenne timeframe. It will be a bigger, heavier, car for sure. If you want more space that is the best option. I suspect the Macan will be sportier and probably better looking of the two.

The Macan Turbo comes standard with the side blades in Turbonite (at least in NZ). Has anyone seen what the finish of these might be like on other models? In the configurator it looks like a matte finish. I’m wondering if the gloss black might look better, and that seems to be what Porsche...

I have not come across it, but has anyone seen whether the Macan EV or the PPE platform will support Apple CarKey?

I filled out a form for the Macan EV waiting list here in NZ way back in June 2022! Can't wait to see the configurator go up and then to decide if I got Macan EV Turbo or facelift Taycan.

Yep, this looks very promising in terms of range and efficiency. Not to mention the "top spec" (Turbo?) looks really hot!

I have my name down on the Macan EV and the Taycan FL lists...I'll soon be faced with having to make a decision!
