I've noticed it happening when driving into the sun. I think this means "the camera can't make sense of what it sees," which could be for a few different reasons.

I don't think this is a phone setting, as it doesn't do this for any other car with wireless Android Auto. (Also, there's no phone setting for what to do when disconnecting, only for when connecting.)

It's unlikely the brand of fast charger affects anything. Have you fast charged elsewhere? If this is your first time fast charging, it might be that there was some problem in the charging controller in the car and it blew some circuit? Also, you "get" 3.7 .... what?
