Uploading these here for feedback. I am still not sure if this is normal behaviour.
Update:
Been shown couple of Macans, Taycan and a GT3. All had the same issue with the doors. It's the way they close... With a bit of force. The air can't escape properly unless you crack a window open. I asked...
Tried restarting the car and shutting it down but the error still shows. Any tips other than sending it for service?
Edit: Check if you have PSM off. For some reason when PSM it's off, there is no icon on the dash.
This is my second car, so take my review/impressions with a pinch of salt.
Exterior
- Aimed for a minimal look, as my ultimate goal was a Rivian (not available in Europe).
- Happy with the basic white color; it pairs nicely with the black accents.
- The white Porsche lettering at the rear is...
Just picked it up. The car is amazing! However I am in park and and when I try to put it Drive or Reverse, it goes back to Park. If I try multiple times a very strange mechanical noise comes out of the rear. If I do I power cycle it switches to drive or reverse but otherwise it doesn’t.
Uodate...
Very interesting. Wish this video was out when I was making some decisions.
Update: That guys seems to be total jerk. I got mine with the standard. There are few places they've cut corners. The central console is hard plastic with a texture of leather where they could have just used some soft...
It seems that it's not available on their website... Only for the old generation Macan. Do I need to ring the dealer or am I missing something? Thanks ?
I was wondering if anyone is planning to take their Macan off-road? Care to share your experience?
(Yet take delivery of mine but I am planning to do some mild trails. Is it an awful idea?)
I am not planning to bring the 4 on a track and don't like the central clock but didn't know I was also going to miss on the Sport + mode and the Porsche Active Aerodynamics. Any drivers out there that could tell me if I am going to notice the difference? Thanks :)
I was wondering if I am the only one who ordered non-leather interior (I hate leather seats). Have you seen any photos of the non-leather interior? My SA showed me bunch of Macans from 2020 with non-leather that looked kind of ok but I generally don't like the interior of the older Macans so...
Just read this article regarding a flood that is affecting Porsche's aluminium supplier. Did anyone receive updated estimates already?
EDIT: It seems so far nobody is reporting delays.

Hey everyone!
Was wondering if anyone has pics of the non-leather interior. Can’t tell if the good based on the renders. (I was almost going for Polestar 3 for their non-leather interiors but ended up cancelling due to China/Russia relations.)
This journalist reports that driving the Macan made her motion sick, a sentiment echoed by other journalists. This is concerning, as I am considering purchasing it for a few months of travel around Europe. In contrast, I've driven vehicles like the Nissan Leaf, Fiat 500e, Polestar 2, and Tesla...
I was playing around with the config and noticed that having just one display works better with the dashboard design. The vents under the centre display match up nicely with the curve next to it. But if you add a second display, that curve gets pushed all the way to the edge of the dashboard...
I really don't like the design of it, especially the metal finish at the edges. Prefer the stock look, it's much cleaner. Also wouldn't it be cheaper to replace the plastic bumpers than the offroad ones, as they are pricier? Last thing, is the 10mm extra clearance going to really make a difference?
Hey everyone,
I am planning to use the 4 as an adventure vehicle (until Rivian arrives in the EU). The Taycan seems to have this rear rack but it requires a special config at build time. Couldn't find that option for the Macan 4 tho. Wondering if they are planning to launch something like this...
