Maybe just take a vehicle for a test drive to see how you feel when it’s connected to your driving input. Listening to a flat sound file may/will not give the ‘connected’ experience. (I’m pretty sure most/all demo cars will have this option as Porsche it’s a relatively ‘easy’ sell for them).

If it makes you feel better, the number of times I’ve ever seen the matrix headlight function activate in my Macan is the grand total of zero. ? - Having said that, I’ve only done like 220kms in 3 weeks. If it’s anything like our other cars, there’s quite a specific scenario for it to activate...

I totally agree - with camera/vision/radar systems already built in to the vehicle this absolutely should be the way forward. However as @themacnut has also pointed out (above), system integration, UI/UX hasn’t been one of Porsche’s strongest suits… I guess the beauty with a ‘bolt-on’ Dashcam...
