Besides PIWIS and Porsche does anyone know of a way to gain access on documents on how to take things apart / put back together?
Trying to get my bumper off and also get access to the battery to add an 12V maintainer as my car is parked for a longer period of time.
it would be great to be able to throttle the charge input. So it will stay charging for longer instead of fast charging when not needed and then being charged for idling.
mine was dead completely... so not exactly the same... for me it was a bad and dead 12V battery. Car. I would say jump start your 12V battery and see what happens. Maybe your dealer has already tried that. It at least worked for me.
I had an already broken plastic Protection on the Passenger Low/high beam light and that was around 2.5K Parts + 2.5K install. Touching the Broken clear plastic showed that it was not glass. It had a 2" hole. Gotta protect them somehow. Anything is better than nothing it seems.
Does anyone have advice on how to best protect the top front lights. I wanted to wrap them to avoid possible rock chips ..as i think Ceramic wont really protect them. but then i was told that wrapping could damage them. not sure what to do now. thank you
I was not able so far to bring Android Auto devices to the passenger screen. They show up on the center screen just fine. But nothing on the passenger screen. unfortunately.
That works usually only for about 30 or so minutes then the car goes back to sleep. Unless you are in drive mode. Maybe then it will stay on longer. I think the 60 min pre-climate option on the app is in my opinion the best step for remotely triggered charging of the car. It wastes extra...
With added PPF to protect Car Body paint should help minimizing certain paint insurance claims. Yet Geico takes the benefits but does not cover its cost to have it added. I just spoke to the Service Department and have asked to have it added. And they declined. Now it's time to check out...
that sounds like the real deal then. Thank you. Glad it worked out for you. My 3Ch Blackvue is a hungry unit. 0.6 Ah so i have to figure out to feed it as after 3-4 days max both batteries are drained.
I like the idea of always being able to see in and outside of the car. Thus the ongoing power draw. Maybe I find a way to install another 12v battery. One with more Ah.
Unfortunately not ppf wrapped. I was adviced to not wrap the lights. Porsche said it would make them actually weaker or discolor them. Something like that. I wish there would be a way to protect it. Like an additional glass in front of it.
That is my assumption. I didn't even see it until a friend pointed it out today. Such a bummer less than 1k miles and already need to replace the light. Not sure if they can just fix the glass in front or is this all "baked" in?
Thank you. by running a dashcam i need to run the 60min Pre-Climate that will top of my car daily to avoid it from draining. Unfortunately, it also wastes energy not needed due to heating/cooling.
