Very simple, I need a car, it had to be an EV car and all the other models around don’t fit my needs. Maybe reality will prove I was mad but I think that when you pay 100k for a car you don’t buy only a car but a customer service behind it and for now I’m super satisfied of my SA and my dealer...
This is my first Porsche and so I can only speak with limited experience but I always loved the look of the Crono on the dashboard (and it better at night). But again, I can only speak for myself..
This would be great if:
a) roads are well maintained (and in Italy... well you can not say they area well maintained)
b) toll roads have right fees (and we have I think the most expensive toll roads).
I'm agree with you at 200% but, at least in Italy, the road tax is related to the ownership of...
In Italy there's not a road tax for the EV (for 3/5 years or forever - the decision is delegated by the state to individual regions) but I don't think that this will last for long. About prices, if they should decide to request a payment for EV it would be very very expensive: i.e. in Lombardy...
I confirm you that (after checking 8 Macan EV) the clip is only on passenger seatbelt. Thanks for the precious information. Now I have to find where to buy it on this side of the pound…
It happened to me with my RR Evoque: it was like riding without suspension… and after 300 km they found out that the technician didn’t remove the blocks used for transportation… not a good thing (in fact I had a lot of suspension problem with that car….)
Exactly not to the floor but the button is very low. The passenger seatbelt has a plastic bar that let you set the high of the hook. But since every Macan EV has this (passenger yes, driver no) it should be by default. What bother me now is the “thonk” of the passenger seatbelt against the pillar.
@macanchan Checked with my SA on this aspect (strange also for me and only the passenger seatbelt has a plastic bar to stop the seatbelt hook) and he says he wrote to Porsche to have more details about this. He hasn’t got any reply since then.
21" with Michelin tires, acoustic, thermal and privacy glass and I have to say there's no so much noise (coming from a Tesla M3 with only driver and front passenger laminated glass)..
Thanks for letting us know @TomekGnomek, I added your issue to the general thread:
