The Parade lap was super fun! We were the only SUV and the only Electric. There was a DE event all day so the padock was full of the typical racing fair. My region doesn't let the electrics join in the club autocross, so a Parade lap is the most I can do with a Macan EV.
We drove to Carmel the day before and had dinner and stayed there. It's only 14 miles from the track. The organizers were super friendly and a few fellow PCA region members (CCCR) were also friendly. Most other drivers politely ignored us.
. I'm considering doing another parade event in October at Button Willow in central California. Anyone interested in joining me for that?
I used Avenza Maps on my iphone to capture the GPS data in the images. It's a nice free app that works with USGS maps that are gps aware. From the gps tracking it looks like my phone would miss a few samplings at turn 5.
Here is the famous corkscrew. So much fun!
