Retrofitting painted mirrors - help needed

Hi everyone!

In the spirit of swapping parts from textured to painted surfaces (like here), I am trying my luck on the lower parts of the side mirrors.

My first try failed, and I ordered lower mirror housing, that do not fit my upper housings - the new parts are bigger and do not click into the upper housings.
Unfortunately, there are many different part numbers for the lower mirror housings, due to the different configurations (with or without 360 Camera, etc.) me and my dealer cannot work out, which part shall be the right one.

I kindly ask if someone of you would like to share his VIN with me in a private message, so that the parts catalog filters all the possible mirror housings for that correct and primed version of the part number.

Your Macan should:
- be a MY2025
- have painted side mirrors (6FU)
- have Surround View (PX6)
- maybe: have Automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors (4L6)
- maybe: have Comfort Access (4E6)

I would suggest that you could use Porsche Finder to search new inventory and find cars with those options, then use the VIN for your purpose.

There are 12 different versions of the lower mirror housings (2). Ordering the right one is a delicate matter. Factors are the camera, the surface and if it is LHD or RHD. Of course, you need a left and right mirror - so you have actually 24 different part numbers. The "mirror foot" (3) although is always the same.

I for myself, ordered falsely a RHD setup, driving a LHD though.

The suffix G2x indicates primed, O3G is carbon and OK1 is plastic. This is a repeating pattern in the parts catalogue.

I will focus here only on the primed (gloss black or exterior paint) versions.
