Recommended driving position for a more sporty feel?

Hi All,

Really enjoying the Macan as a daily, does anyone have any tips on setting the best driving position for that sport feeling?
When traffic clears and there are some nice winding roads, I feel I'm sitting too high and steering wheel is too far away.

When I turn the switch to sport - lowers suspension, sport sound, etc, have others tried a really low seat position with the steering wheel much closer to your lap?
Some have said it should feel like a 911, and I've not yet got my seat and steering wheel right for that yet.

Any tips appreciated as willing to trial and error.

Hey,

I participated in some driving experience courses from Porsche and they recommended to have the steering wheel as close to you as possible and the seat positioned so that your knees have a 90 degree angle (even if you push the break). BTW: they also recommended this for daily driving.

Additionally I am sitting as low as possible. For me that's perfect

I have a few go to pointers when I tracked my previous ride:
1. Easy to touch my inner wrist to the 12 o'clock of steering - good distance for force vs reaction
2. Heel of feet to bottom of accelerator and brake.
3. height of steering - not too low, chest level

I was as low as possible with the seat but after 7000km found the best setup that comes close to a taycan feel: chassis level set to deep, suspension throttle etc can stay normal. Then adjust the seat height so you can see the front hood bulges as these give you visual feedback on how you cut corners, etc… this really works for me.

I like to adjust the seat quite low, but then I can't see the HUD display! And if set the seat high enough so that I can see HUD then the middle armrest is a bit too low. Ergonomics in Macan is ok but not perfect.

Yes, I can adjust the display higher but then the display is overlapping incoming traffic. That's too much augmented reality for me. ?
