I have been driving EV’s for 7 years and treat their range expectations as a reasonable estimate but had an odd experience with my Macan 4 this week. I used the PCM navigation to find a location about 30 miles from my home. I noticed that the charge (SOC) at destination that is in the upper right panel of the navigation screen predicted a 5% higher SOC at the destination than the actual current SOC displayed in the dashboard. I did the navigation in the My Porsche app and it showed a battery charge that i would have estimated at the destination. I cancelled the PCM navigation and sent the MY Porsche travel plan to the car. The destination SOC displayed in the PCM was still 5% greater than my current SOC. After arriving at the destination, the navigation SOC estimate was unchanged and was now about 10% higher than the actual SOC. The actual SOC was what the My Porsche app predicted. I rebooted the car before my return trip with the same results. Seems weird.
