Random Braking

I've had my Macan Turbo for just over a month - barely done 300miles in it. I was driving out of London last night, turning left onto the A4, nothing in front of me, when the car did an emergency stop spontaneously. The red collision warning sign came up on the dash. Fortunately there was no car close behind. I am concerned that this might happen again - maybe on the motorway! Has anyone experienced this - and if so was there any remedy?

I don't think it should be a concern on highways.

But, in the city, in parking lots and ramps of underground parkings, that sort of behavior exists, it's annoying and sometimes really concerning.
When in reverse, this behavior is very boring, because you are almost certain that you hit something, but fortunately no!

Maybe better with the latest SQ5, I don't know as I don't have my car since weeks, and the loaner I have is a non updated 2025 Macan.

Very often in my parking lot, because the access ramp is very narrow and turns a lot, so the car thinks I will break the wall!
For instance, this week, in town only, 3 times in 6 little trips of 10 km. The car thinks something is arriving in front of me, in two/three specifics narrow roads.
It clearly depends on the roads, in Paris, they are especially narrow.
Phantom braking on road: one time as I can remember.

I've experienced that on my faulty car (so it could be linked to my specific problematic Turbo... who knows), but also in the 3 loaners I've had for months.

My car has red circle of death errors that generate total or partial loss of power under any circumstances: town, broads, highway. Porsche can't figure out and refuse for now to buy it back. But I will prevail!

Yes I have had that on motorways while on cruise control - seems it was responding to an old reduced speed limit that still appears in the satnav database - not wanting it to happen again, fortunately no unsuspecting tail-gater that day, I switched speed limit recognition off.

I have had this happen to me twice on the highway. Both could be contributed to a totally fouled up front sensor, it was full of bugs. When I cleaned it it didn't happen anymore so now I have a habit of keeping it clean.
It also happens to me in a particular place when I back up. The car thinks I'm going to hit another car. Also it's super sensitive when backing up and a pedestrian or a bicycle is in the vicinity.
