New 2025 models listed at a discount from the window sticker (not really)

Sharing just for fun.
I am in central california and ordered a 2025 Macan 4 from a dealer in Colorado back in July 2025. I did this because I was particular about options and my local dealer is small with very few choices. The local dealer continues to have almost no available electric macans so now I keep checking just for entertainment really.

Well, I checked today and to my supirse they had new 2025 Macans listed. Then I was really suprised to see that the list price was less than the window sticker price.

Ahh... Nevermind... I was fooled by the porsche website. Same as when I was shopping last July. The details on the car listings are wrong. The cars that are listed at less than the window sticker all have photos showing 3k + miles on them. So even though they are listed as 'New' they are not. Hence the discount prices.

They may be service loaners. I bought a service loaner macan 4 that had a few thousand miles on it. It was listed as new for registration purposes if I remember correctly.

I bought a new/used 4s with 485 miles on it. It was a former Porsche exec demo car, and I thought it was the best of all worlds. Sold to me as CPO, so I get the extra warranty, titled as new and with almost no miles. I got a substantial discount to new pricing as well.
