I've never been a fan… 2-speed transmission

according to Porsche's own marketing Material for the Macan - a 1 speed transmission is great for performance

but the Taycan has a 2 speed transmission which I've never been fond of…aaprently it's main advantage is automatic shifting according to Porsche

I know there is an advantage in there somewhere e- but I never found the case where it appeared to matter…all it did for me was make me notice it shifting when I accelerated really really hard.

Hum… CT4 owner here , Macan 4 on order.
Similar maximum HP but 80 km/h to 120 needed time of the Taycan is significantly better, thanks to the two speeds transmission IMHO
