Yesterday I posted about the issue I have with charging my Macan ev turbo using Tesla charger with adaptor red light grounding fault. Today my car charged for a short while and then stopped charging because of temperature of charging port!!! Could that be a charging port problem in the car or the Tesla evse??

Must be bad adaptor causing the grounding fault and then over heating

Sounds like an adapter problem. What is the brand/model of your adapter?

Did the car throw the error or the Tesla Wall Connector? The handles of the Tesla have a thermistor. The V3 chargers had a run of hardware that regularly overheat, but they normally just throttle the rate down when they do - not stop charging altogether. The fix was in revision G of the hardware.
