MY 25 Macan owner here. Had an unusual event and first fail since the recall. I think it relates to the interface with Apple Play, but open to opinion.
While driving to an event, i switched from satellite radio to Apple Play (using on screen Apple Play button) and turned on music. When I arrived at my destination and parked, the usual shutdown message did not show on the console. In a few hours, I returned and when I opened the door, Apple Play resumed where it had left off. When I closed the door, the center screen shut down and the car would not go into reverse or drive. When I opened the door, the screen came on and Apple Play music resumed, but the car would not start.
Oddly, this ended when I pushed the power button to the left of the steering wheel and the car sprung back to life. Today I checked and everything was back to normal. I was really amazed that I had gone months with no issues and then this happened. Thoughts welcome!
