FitcamX dashcam. Anybody installed one?

I also noticed my fitcam was constantly recording in the middle of the night. I think due to condensation on the windshield.

I just checked mine and it stopped recording 2 months ago. I removed the SD card to check the recordings. After this the camera stopped turning on... Did you get in contact with support? They want me to test the pins with a multi meter... seems a bit much for a consumer.

I didn’t. I just made it a point to monitor/check it every week since it has happened and it seems to be working.

I should note that the camera stopped working when I went on vacation and left the car idle for two weeks. Not sure if that affects it or not.

When I had issue with my original install I found their customer service quite good. Hopefully you just got a bad one!
