I've also had some annoying issues w/ sound cutting out, but it seems to stem from the fact that I have apple carplay going and it doesn't seem to be able to output more than one channel of audio at once. I went into my phone and closed my google maps app and the sound came back on. Somehow being connected to Carplay is disrupting the music, it even happens sometimes using Sirus XM. When i closed my google maps app via my iphone it seemed to solve the problem

I get something similar, but only occasionally. I normally play SXM, and I always have Android Auto connected/running. But once in a while AA doesn't connect, or blips, and the audio source goes out completely (even if I try to switch to FM from SXM). The volume graphic works fine when I change the volume, there's just no audio source coming through. I have to do the PCM reboot to get it back. Happened 5-10 times now in 3 months.

SXM has numerous issues in mine. The steering wheel Seek button won't scroll only Favorites even though the Favorites tab is selected, UNLESS I manually change the channel to a Favorited channel first. Only then will it narrow the scope for seeking to just favorites.

Setting the diamond button to Seek Back almost never works with SXM. Once in a while, but rarely.

My driver profile will lose my Sound settings every few weeks (Surround and Fade) and just revert back to the defaults.

Lots of quirks.
