Apple CarPlay - possible to display, split or move to passenger dispaly?

Nope, the passenger display is mostly useless currently.

I don't have a passenger display.
The manual says:
"Phone release for passenger display
The driver has approved the phone via the Center Display.
The passenger operates the connected telephone via the passenger display."
So you may be able to approve the phone for passenger display. The manual's passenger display screen shot shows a carplay button. On the passenger display, content can be viewed and selected independently of the Center Display. Dunno if both screens can run carplay at the same time (if you have two phones)

Only one device can be active at once for Apple CarPlay - you can have 2 phones, only one will project on the car screen. Same goes for Google.

right, huh? I have a passenger display because it "came with" the car. I wonder if it's purpose was only to sell cars.
It can do only what the center display can do, plus show a speedometer and compass screen. I've tried watching YouTube on a trip- it makes me more nauseous than holding an iPad, which I could use Airpods with.
