Android Auto - new issue today

As of this morning Android Auto is giving the following on the car screen:

"Android Auto can not confirm credentials of phone"

I'm using a latest model Samsung phone.

Steps taken so far...

Cleared cache and storage on AA app on phone.

Uninstalled AA and reinstalled.

Unpaired and repaired phone.

None of this has worked. Any suggestions from the group.

If you're trying it with Bluetooth, plug the phone in via USB cord instead.

Reset hotspot password to a new compliant one, CarPlay users had the same issue
