We’re currently planning the next generation of our dash cams, and we really want to build them around what drivers actually need in the real world. That’s why we’d love to hear your honest thoughts:

1. When you’re driving, what do you want your dash cam to capture inside the vehicle?
2. Is there anything you’ve wished your dash cam would record, but couldn’t?
3. For those situations, have you used any workarounds or alternative solutions?

Internal recording needs to get the side windows, for lane splitting motorcycles, and highway patrol interactions, and also audio.

That being said, I'm so attached to the seamless integration of the FitCamX, that I'd be unlikely to buy any camera that didn't have a similar fit.

i think Jwatte hit the nail on the head.
I think an internal cam would be best if it can capture the driver/passenger windows at least...so i guess a 180/fish eye of some sort.

and also, the fitcam x's stealth/integration into the interior is definitely what i want. shame they don't seem to be upgrading their own products
