Hey,
I participated in some driving experience courses from Porsche and they recommended to have the steering wheel as close to you as possible and the seat positioned so that your knees have a 90 degree angle (even if you push the break). BTW: they also recommended this for daily driving...
Yeah I do not worry about this, but I am really disappointed by the lack of QA for the Macan. This is even worse than all the cars from other brands I owned before and actually I would have thought the other way around.
Hey all,
since the new software update my 360 degree camera system has some issues. Sometimes all of the cameras fail at once, sometimes just one camera fails, sometimes one camera just flickers. Anyone else experienced this ?
Yes. They have changed the heat exchanger which is responsible for heating the cabin. My dealer said Porsche also replaced it in the building process since April for all new cars. So far it has not happened again to me.
Happened again to me now (second time, car has 5400 km on it) while I was driving with 107 km/h and air condition on. This time I was able to catch it on video and already told my dealership. I also told them, that it should already be known by Porsche. Let's see what will happen. After the...
I picked up my Macan in November and since then Plug and Charge wasn't working (and I didn't wanted to do the factory reset). Now I tried it again and it suddenly worked. I also logged out of the app before. Maybe this solved the issue or they've done something in the background :).
To give you at least some hope ;). In the Taycan the hardware for comfort access was always included. Even if you didn't bought the feature itself. But tbh I don't know if it's the same for the Macan. We'll see.
Just to understand it correctly ;). You are saying there are some kind of Porsche internal instructions on how to align the charge port doors?
If yes, I would also inform my dealer about this. I've already had my car there three weeks ago and asked them to align them but they told me "its not...
As it was already said, for me it doesn't seem like a bug or something. It's just very unintuitive. I had the same problem until someone from Porsche visited me. I showed this and suddenly by accident I recognized, that you "just" have to double tap the left button on the side bar twice. So if...
@piter95 did they gave you something like a case / incident number or something like that? Something that others could reference to when reporting the same issue to their seller?
Thanks for your feedback!
This sounds like a major issue to me. If it would have been something non critical (like a problem with aircon), I assume they would've given you the car back and just let you wait for the new part to be available. Sounds like a potential recall.
