I will start with saying that I have a 2026 Macan 4 on order, hopefully arriving in a couple months. I did option:
Phone as a Key
3D Surround View
AR HUD
Drive Assist (was InnoDrive) for freeways
Passenger Display to allow copilot navigation and entertainment
Trailer Hitch to hopefully enjoy...
I have it optioned on my 2026 Macan 4, coming in March. As the only Hardware difference appears to be the ionizer, I donāt expect any different costs for maintenance. I had opened the Ionizer on my 2020 Taycan and required no maintenance in 5 years used virtually all the time.
Could you make a slightly longer video that shows clicking on the upper right corner of the NAV screen where it has the clock and arrival percentage? It then shows details of each stop though I agree it does not seem to show any stops it may lend clarity.
FYI The Towing Capacity for all 2026 AWD variants was increased to about 5500lbs. Excerpt from the manual:
I thought I had read that this was true for earlier model years as well, but Iām not able to find that reference so donāt quote me.
I was not aware that there are any physical changes on...
Well I too, who has a build going for a 2026 Macan EV saw clearly the 11kW OBC but also saw lots of inconsistencies also showing a 9.6kW OBC. I wrote to the Porsche North America spokesperson, shortly after the online configurator was cleaned up showing only a 9.6 kW OBC.
Earlier posts speak of...
@craz8 I had gotten my manual link by pasting a 2026 Macan 4 VIN that I found on a Porsche dealership website of an incoming car. My own car does not have a VIN assigned yet but that should be resolved by January 12 which is the build complete date target.

Sorry, I just did a copy paste, but it is in the online manual. I know there is no range mode, I had borrowed the car for several weeks from the dealership.
Am I expected to correct...
Thank you for pointing this out. You are correct that normal mode cannot be altered. Only other modes. I really need to get my own car :crying:
Excerpt from the manual:
I agree that the information you get is the cached server information; however, from what I had seen in the Taycan, it does attempt to get updated information from the vehicle when you access the app. The app generally shows if the information is current or not in a small Status message at the...
My $0.02
The setting for Sport Sound can be easily updated and saved in the driving mode, like you can make (correction made 1/2/26) drive modes other than Normal mode have the sound on or you can make Sport Plus not have the sound on. That is of course only if you optioned Sport Sound.
As for...
@Petzi , yes, I certainly agree that you can open another Navigation app like Waze to check for things on the road that might cause you a slow down š. However, I know with the Taycan if you attempt to start routing with another app, it would cancel the routing with the in-car Navigation. I...
@dbsb3233 You do not need to set a destination beyond the Charger if you do not wish to. You will need to go into the intelligent range manager settings by pressing the gear icon in the Porsche navigation screen and set the minimum charge at destination to a high value like 80% or such then it...
@icehot simply adding a charging station as a destination will typically not figure preconditioning as stated earlier in this thread. The car needs to think you need to charge. To accomplish that you:
Have to put a final destination that would require charging and have the desired charging...
To address a couple items in this discussion.
I am waiting for my car to get built in January but I feel reasonably confident that you could route to a Charger as a destination, and as long as you set the minimum charge at destination in the settings to a high value, such that the car would know...
Costco hosts some Electrify America sites that are owned by Electrify America (like Santa Barbara) and some that are owned by Costco and managed by Electrify America (like San Luis Obispo). If youāre physically at the site, you can easily see these as theyāll have a Costco brand on the charger...
FYI @KLMRCLL The Edmunds review is discussed on a separate thread https://www.macanevowners.com/forum/threads/edmunds-1-year-ownership-test-of-their-macan-4-ev.24180/
I watched this video earlier today. They were not overly positive I must say. Though the biggest rants were that they didnāt have a rear wiper and there wasnāt a 360 camera. Admittedly, these are options, not base, but they are easily solved by clicking a few more boxes before placing the order...
Thanks for the feedback. I am well aware of the ability to go though tires. š
FYI I did update my initial post with my a missing section:
Accessories:
Luggage compartment liner - Allows utility of varying dirty stuff
Front luggage compartment liner - Allows utility of varying dirty stuff...
California allowed the sticker versions of the front license plate plates in 2022, you can check if your state is allowing it from the website listed in this article.

Sadly, it looks like Texas does not allow a sticker...
I hope to use this thread to document the journeys of Stealth 2.0. My first Stealth was a 2020 Taycan 4S in Volcano Gray/Bordeaux Red that I picked up at PECLA on November 11, 2020. It was a tremendous experience and gave me a lot of joy for nearly 6 years and over 100,000 miles. You can read...
