Update! Privacy mode from my car as been disabled! It’s currently located in Germany, and somebody is checking it right now!

Wow! Seems that a recall is on the way for all the cars… No news, I know they picked the car on Friday and they are transporting it from Czech republic to Germany ! I’ll keep you posted guys!

Unfortunately I don’t know yet, I’m in holidays and I’ll be for the next two weeks… so hopefully I will know something. If it escalated soooo much, I expect a replacement vehicle for at least the whole repair duration! Without even considering some reimbursement…

So ! I have quiet a big update… as my car seems to be the very first one having this issue, this night (around midnight) I have been contacted by the service and Porsche wants to take back my car and ship it to the Leipzig Factory and fix it over there! I’ll keep you posted!

Thanks Diego! Really appreciated that! how many kms did you drive? I really wonder what’s the problem in my case… I guess I will discover it soon… I’m going in holidays for 2 weeks, so they are keeping the car and I hope once I’m back that they figured that out…

Could be... I was driving on highway and it happens when I came back home, so maybe insects and dirt... But after shutting down and turning on everything was fine

I have honestly no clue... All of these are great guesses... I think there are some electric components that are not properly working... Now and then I get the message that Safety system are malfunctioning. See pic below:

I will definitely wait for some of their answers. I don't accept anymore "it's normal", "nothing found" etc. If this will happen again I will go to a different dealership and if the different dealership will find an issue, I will sue the dealership from where I purchased the car.

Well considering their incompetence... I'm not surprised that they fucked up something as pre-delivery action... I'm so mad...

I don't think it was due to external factors, it happened to me in different highways... Plus I got the confirmation that also another Macan that the same dealership has, came back with the same problem...

Hope the same. They said they opened a ticket to the factory... I don't know what does that means and how long it will take to figure that out.

I didn't try to set recirculate, and it doesn't happen 100% of the time. It's a bit random, but I can definitely feel it 90% of the time I'm driving in the highway for long distances. 40kms+. No rain at all...

Ciao Diego! Interesting! Did you have chance to have the clima ON around 25 degrees or higher, 1 of speed and driving for 40km minimum at 130KM/h (Highway driving) ? I'm just thinking that may be the clima... At least I hope! But from the dealership apparently I'm not the only one...
