I had set a thread up about this last year.
https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/threads/new-isa-black-box-from-july-2022.8203/
A few things have changed since then, namely for us in the UK (decision delayed).
Personally, I would not want a car with it. I would sooner have a used car without it.
Don't pay above retail.
Wait for all this hype to die down and cost of living crisis to really bite. Then buy one new.
I got mine in April 2014 but don't wear it any more because of all the hype and thefts nowadays.
I preferred it when fewer people knew what they were.....before the hype went...
I had this on in the car yesterday and it reminded me of this thread......
I remember playing it once in a previous car......warm summer night, nearly dawn, driving through the city centre with the roof down and a girl on a first date in the passenger seat.
Perfection!
And it certainly revved...
Well music is obviously a very personal thing.....
My playlist would have been very different to the OP and unknown by most people I guess, so not worth posting.
That said, if it is a nice lazy summer evening, I always like cruising round listening to something like (the original) Summer...
It was a great match. Really enjoyed it. Your keeper was fantastic!
Liverpool seemed slightly below par. Maybe losing the premiership to City less than a week ago in the way they did took its toll?
Anyway, I am a Man Utd supporter, so I am just keeping my head down in dismay currently.
Not...
I have just bought two beaters for me and the Mrs due to travelling and not really wanting to wear a Rolex out as much nowadays.
Lots of thefts happening all over the place.
My mate was robbed at gunpoint in Brazil for his Sub.
And plenty of thefts happening round our neck of the woods...
I know so many people who have started suffering with vertigo/dizziness recently - who have never had it before (including me).
It started March '21 on a Sunday - 3 weeks after my first covid jab. Never had anything like it before, then it suddenly appeared.
Slowly improved since and not bad...
I don't own these...
But would love to!
Both are watches always mentioned in such high esteem - but of which I didn't really pay too much attention.
But both of these pictures changed my view....
The Patek Nautilus in blue looks amazing in the picture in water. Suddenly I got it. Way, way...
For the first time ever, I bought a new watch for travel (arrived home today) as I don't want to take any of our Rolex in the current climate.
As it happens I quite enjoyed wearing it (Tag F1 quartz on rubber strap) and not having to worry about scratching it, smacking it about etc. A proper...
I find it really interesting that the recent BMW releases are not necessarily being fully embraced in China.
Makes me wonder even more if its a huge mistake by BMW. I was of the impression that the majority of Chinese loved the new look - and it appears that may not be the case.
Thanks for...
They could do away with doors at the side of the car to get in and out now and just use the grill as a set of double doors instead.....
Left to go in and right to exit. Like a kitchen in a restaurant.
I hope BMW sell a lot of cars in their target market, cause I sure as 5hit won't be buying...
Marvin was a visionary imo.
51 years on and this seem more relevant than ever.
Just in case anyone doesnt know the song, or not taken any notice of the lyrics....
I did have the platinum YM before the BLNR and had scratched my bezel too.
That said, I wore it all the time and managed to do this to it as well (pic 1)....!
Maybe a rethink for BLNR replacement?
However, I wear the Datejust nearly all the time nowadays. Very comfortable (pic 2) and prefer it...
I got mine in early 2014, but am probably going to move it on soon.
I always loved it, but the hype is a bit much nowadays. Its one of those watches all the thieves recognise now.
I would probably replace it with a Yachtmaster (Rhodium) and pocket some cash.
What a load of bo11ocks.....
Its a country where people prefer to buy their houses (not rent like much of Europe) and look after their cars - meticulously washing them on the drive every Sunday......before mowing the lawn!
Think it would work better in cities with high levels of rented...
Funny you should say that.....
Because by pure coincidence it's one of the absolute last things I would be interested in.
Great first post by the way. Can't believe you joined just to share that gem with us.
Ps It's 'no' not 'now' in English.
Also It isn't interesting.
Also - be honest, do...
